    Sourced directly from one of the most famous garden, Namring Tea Estate. Situated at 1800 to 5000 feet above sea level, this tea is made only during summer flush. The tea has muted undertones of Muscat grapes with mild woody accents are discernible towards the middle and around the edges. Interestingly, notes of grapes come towards the middle that stays on the palate till the end.

    STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS

    WATER

    Take 180 ml or 3/4th cup of water.

    TEMPERATURE

    For best infusion, get the water temperature right to 90’C-95’C (194’F-199’F)

    QUANTITY OF LEAVES

    Use 2-3 g or 1 tsp. of loose leaves.

    TIME

    Infuse the leaves for 2-3 mins.

    Narmring Tea Garden, Darjeeling

    Darjeeling's Namring Tea Estate dates back to 1855. It is one of Darjeeling's oldest and largest tea estates in India, divided into upper and lower divisions, and comprises three tea gardens, namely Poomong, Jingiam, and Namring, with the highest plantation rising to over 1700 meters. Every season, the estate produces excellent black teas from a combination of China, Clonal, and Assam Hybrid tea plants.
